From Linda Darnell:-
MY daughter Helen was knocked down and after I was phoned with the news I rushed out of my office and flagged down a passing car to take me to her.
To the lovely lady whose car I 'hijacked' as she was Christmas shopping in Birkenhead, I would just like to say thank you very much for taking me to my daughter. Helen is fine and did not have any broken bones, thank God. It was very kind of you to help me and I am very grateful.
